GPT to MBR conversion

Just a quick question.

I have a non-system GPT 1TB disk with three partitions, one of which is protected by Veracrypt.
I mount it whenever I need something from it. It's not a favourite
Because of compatibility issues that I have with other software I need to convert the disk from GPT to MBR.

This is supposed to be a non destructive procedure with a tool such as MiniTool Partition Wizard.
It does the job, they say, and keeps your data intact.

However, I am bit worried about the veracrypt protected partition. Will it still be accessible and mountable after the GPT to MBR conversion?

Thank you for any insight.

You should ask support of MiniTool Partition Wizard since they know what their software is performing to convert GPT to MBR.

I have the feeling MiniTool Partition Wizard will at minimum destroy the VeraCrypt header on the volume which means the safest method is to decrypt, convert and encrypt the partition.

Also, you should have backups of your data in case of HDD failure, user error or software error which can occur on both non-encrypted and encrypted volumes.

Kind Regards.
