Microsoft Visual Studio Intellisense files not available in 1.15

description

After updating from 1.14 to 1.15 my Visual Studio 2013 Professional installation can no longer access the SQL Server Compact 4.0 sdf files required to support Intellisense and browsing information. These files are normally created alongside the solution file which, in my case, is on an encrypted non-system partition (same thing happens using an encrypted file container). I have re-enabled the driver configuration "enable extended disk control codes support" to no avail.

This results in many settings in the IDE being unavailable and is not desirable.

There is a work-around which involves pointing the file location to a non-encrypted disk but that then bypasses the encryption of data.

I have same experience in Visual Studio 2015, but it seems to be more complex problem. For example is not possible to create new class by C++ Class Wizard, build of the project hangs etc.

By my opinion, some parts of the Visual Studio can't write to the mounted VeraCrypt volume.

Seems to be serious problem -> I'm unable to protect mine source codes by VeraCrypt now.

Returning to older version, till fix will be available

Beta 1.16 does indeed resolve the Intellisense/browsing problem in VS2013. I'm not sure about Zdenal's problem as I haven't done any work in that area.
