Cannot mount volume on network drive

description

Hello,
I'm using the latest Veracrypt on Windows 10. I want to create a volume(like 10MB) on a network drive, which is my OneDrive space mounted in Z. When I format it to FAT, it can be created and mounted successfully. But when I choose NTFS, an error message box always pops up.

By the way, a local volume can always be created on my system. So there is not other 3rd-party driver interfering in the driver stack. Thanks!
