Hi,

Right now i have a laptop with 2x256GB SSDs in Raid0. The boot is set to UEFI. When i do a full disk encryption i'm unable to select the entire drive. The raid has 2 partitions. With the raid I can only encrypt the main partition and do a second encryption of the second partition.

I'm not sure what can i do to make a whole disk enryption and not just a partition encryption.

I would like to buy the new Samsung 960 PRO SSD 512GB and make to partitions. Will i get the same problem(not being able to do a whole disk encryption) or not ?

Also is there anything i can do with my current SSDs in Raid0 to make a whole disk encryption ?

Please help me

Do you mean system encryption with EFI?

System EFI full disk encryption is possible via several steps from rescue disk.

I'm talking about Boot Mode: UEFI or Legacy Boot. I have UEFI. When i want to install full disk encryption, the option is grayed out. I'm not sure if it's because i'm using UEFI boot or because of the RAID0.
