Driveletter of the System-Partition

at the moment i have encrypted a removable hard drive and an internal data harddisk. Everything works well. Now i want to encrypt my System-Harddisk and i'm not sure if it gets another driveletter while it gets encrypted (like the data-disk). I tried to find the answer in the documentation, but i could not find it.
There are a lot of applications which needs the driveletter "c" for the system-partition, if it gets another driveletter i'm not sure if the programs would work after encryption.
Could anyone give me a hint if the driveletter of the system volume will change?

The drive letter c: won't change with boot system encryption.
I've encrypted c: every month for years with TC and now VC. Every month, I restore the last system image, run windowsupdate, make a new system image, and re-encrypt c:.
Never a problem.

It shouldn't change.
If lets say your Windows is on C:\ and you encrypt it, and continue to boot/use it normally(like you used to) then it wont change.
