Cloud Backup files within a VeraCrypt volume

Hi,

I'm completely new to VeraCrypt. I've not been able to discover the answer to my question myself as I need to first backup 5Tb of data before creating the VeraCrypt volume.

So I was pleased to learn that BackBlaze support backing up VeraCrypt volumes:

https://help.backblaze.com/hc/en-us/articles/217664968-Can-Backblaze-back-up-TrueCrypt-containers-

But I was wondering if it would also be able to backup files within said volumes as well. The reason I want to do this is that there are certain files I would like to be able to restore without having to restore the entire 5Tb volume.

Many thanks!

As far as I understand it, no. You can't backup individual files in a VeraCrypt volume without making it transparent (unencrypted) to any cloud backup solution.
You probably need a file encryption solution to back individual encrypted files. VeraCrypt is a disk encryption tool.
