My whole windows 7 drive is encrypted. windows 7 crashed and now keeps loading Windows Startup Repair (After I have entered pw via veracrypt bootloader). But when I try to access the drive via CMD/DOS (which is available via startup repair) it says something like " the volume does not contain a recognized file system"

This doesnt make sense since I thought decryption are happening in the background so Windows should always see the data?

There is no corruption that is causing Windows to stop from starting up. I already know why its doing it and how to fix it. But I need access to the windows drive to fix it.

Also, how would i remove veracrypt completely if I cant boot into the OS?

During the creation of the system encryption process, you were prompted to create the Rescue Disk. You will use the Rescue Disk which contains the unique encryption key (master key) to decrypt the system encryption on your PC so you can repair the Windows OS.
