Broken Burner Drive

installed on laptop windows 7 but burner is broken

anyway to encrypt whole drive and bypass burner section?

Assuming you have installed VeraCrypt in the default location, using the command line as Administrator, type the following including the double quotes:

"C:\Program Files\VeraCrypt\VeraCrypt Format.exe" /noisocheck

The reason you have to use the double quotes is if a space exists in the directory or file name.

Thanks. I will try that. Will buy new burner but was working on laptop someone gave me and ran into that problem.

Thanks buddy. That worked perfectly!

I changed my password and must of did typo and now cant get back in :)

Gotta make a list of possible cominations I used and surrounding keys :(

You might want to check that your keyboard mappings are working correctly by typing the password in Notepad. Some users have somehow changed their language settings or keyboard mapping which was causing the failure to get their password correct.
