Linux Nautilus dependency's question

Hello idrassi

I've always used Nautilus file manager with Linux specifically for the fact that the dependency's needed by TrueCrypt came with Nautilus. I use VeraCrypt now for windows, but have not tested this with linux.

My question is: Are most of the dependency issues with TrueCrypt no longer an issue with VeraCrypt? In other words, can I run Veracrypt with a wider selection of file managers under linix now?

I'm a Debian user, but as far as the bundled file managers is concerned, there are other file managers I wanted to try. But it was always an issue with Truecrypt because TC needed dependency's that only Nautilus had. And under some versions of linux, if you install Nautilus it pulls in dependency s not compatible to all distributions.

Can VeraCrypt run along side more file managers than Truecrypt was able to?
