Last year this was a planned feature but I was wondering if any plans have actually been put into motion. It would be really nice to have since just about all new laptops use the UEFI BIOS.

UEFI support seems to be very complex task, so I'd not expect it in the near future. Right now the only option (easy one) is to reinstall the laptop in mbr mode, you only have to change UEFI boot to legacy boot in BIOS and boot DVD/flash with windows installation. In 90% of cases you don't need to install drivers, windows usually install them with windows update.

I have seen also a tutorial how to convert UEFI to MBR on internet, but I found it quite hard to follow for non tech gurus.
