Hi Guys,

First of all sorry for my bad English, its not my first language.

since a week im getting a error when I try to mount my external HDD. I use have the latest version of veracrypt and I get the message Source: MountVolume:6948 see picture http://i.imgur.com/WLKkx0l.jpg

I mount this HDD with veracrypt for almost a year know I think and I never seen this message before. i searched here for a solution but i couldn't find it.

Do you guys know what is should do?

Hello,

Try mounting using the option button to enable the option to mount using embedded backup header.

Yes, it means that the primary header is damaged.

You can restore from embedded header key using the Tools button with the volume selected, but dismounted.
