Backward compatibility to TruCrypt

Our IT department have started encrypting an 8TB disk using Veracrypt on the grounds that TruCrypt is no longer supported.

Unfortunately the disk is being shipped to Amazon who only support TruCrypt. Any chance a VeraCrypt volume mounts in TruCrypt as a backward compatability feature?

VeraCrypt volumes are not recognized by TrueCrypt and VeraCrypt doesn't and will not enable creating TrueCrypt volumes.

In cases like yours, your IT can use TrueCrypt ONLY for creating disks and use VeraCrypt to mount them thanks to "TrueCrypt Mode" option. That being said, because of vulnerabilities discovered recently, installing TrueCrypt can be a security risk so the machine that has TrueCrypt installed must be isolated from the network and used only for creating TrueCrypt volumes.
