I have a GPT partitioned drive. I've found a way to have full disk encryption by encrypting both the main partition and the MSR. I wrote a guide on how to do this located here. Obviously both are required to be mounted before the drive can be used.

Since I don't want to actually write anything to the MSR there is no reason for me to have a drive letter assigned to it and therefore be visible when viewing File Explorer.

Is there a way to mount a drive but have no drive letter assigned to it? I've looked at the VeraCrypt documentation and this forum and haven't found anything regarding if this is possible or not.
