Hello =] Can anyone tell me: on a fully encrypted disc, can files be removed off the system say by a hacker, or on a USB storage device and still be encrypted while the system is on and password has been entered? I have a computer that I would like to leave on and access remotely. Thanks for the help

Anytime the VeraCrypt volume is mounted, anyone that can access your system can potentially add, delete or copy your files which is dependent on the OS security settings. In other words, a mounted encrypted volume is no different than if the data was on non-encrypted location.
