So theoretically, the your internal hard disk was not touched during the install.
Can you try to disconnect it from the machine, to see, if your system still boots?
If not, then the Linux install have put something to the internal disk.

Do you have the rescue disk what you had to create during the system encryption?
I think with that you should be able to fix the volume header.
