System volume favorite unmounts at logoff

Maybe this is by design, but I guess I can't understand why it would work that way. The system in question is windows 2012R2. The window system partition is encrypted and I have a separate 50GB volume which I also encrypted with VeraCrypt. When I reboot the server, the drive automounts nicely and works as expected. When I log into the server, everything stays mounted properly. However, when I log off the 50GB volume then unmounts itself and I have to reboot for it to reenable. Is there any way to avoid this behavior? I simply want the volume to mount at boot and stay that way unless I manually unmount it.

Thanks,

Hi Pete,

By default, VeraCrypt comes with an option enabled to dismount all volumes when user logs off. This is done this way for security reasons.
You can find this option in the preferences dialog (menu "Settings -> Preferences"). Uncheck it if you need the volume to remain mounted after logoff.
