I believe I have a way to beef up (strengthen) user passwords, which are a more vulnerable aspect of the encryption systems, including VeraCrypt, that I have seen.
It does not work in all phases of encryption/decryption and may not work well for some people, but it appears to me to be much better than trying to remember long, complex and frequently changing phrases or other password recollection methods.
I have been using it for quite a while with my password manager. (I don't know any of my passwords, but I know how to get them.) For example, I recover the following cipher key several times each day to open my password manager - one of about 10^9 possibilities
but easy to remember:
What should I do with this?
