Upgrade Windows 10 without decrypting

Hello security aware people,

this week, Microsoft released their newest version of Windows 10. How kindly that they what to give us the best experience with their big "feature updates" every half a year.
But for all VeraCrypt-Users with System encryption, those "feature updates" are pure hassle. The update downloads automatically, failed to install, roll back, and starts all over again. Eventually Windows recognize that this isn't working and stick to its old version.

The only way to get the newest version was to remove the system encryption, run the upgrade and re-encrypt the system again. For one system, maybe a small pain. Doing it for dozens of systems... hell. Until now!

I found a way to do the Upgrade without decrypting the System. It uses a modified installation medium that contains the necessary VeraCrypt-Driver. The Upgrade runs than smoothly as normal.
I documented everything on . There is a script that do the modifications on a given installation media for you. Something not clear? Watch the example/how to video on .

Happy Easter holidays!
