Hi All

I recently changed my password as I was told I may have had a 'Maid' attack, I did this and reinstalled Veracrypt as requested and then rebooted as requested. In my naivety I decided to add a PIM. I didn't read what a PIM was and thought it was just another password. My PIM e.g. 12345, it was five digits. I am now at hour 10 of the verifying password... during the bootloader screen. Am I correct in thinking this will take over 10 days to log in based on the fact is takes one minute to log in normally, multiplied by the number of iterations...???

Default PIM is 485. So you can estimate login time.

Another possibility is to restore header from rescue disk with old password and PIM
