Encrypting the all-new Macbook Pro

Is it possible to create a hidden-operating system (HOS) on the new Macbook Pro using Veracrypt (latest version)? I understand after the creation of the HOS, the OS installed on the parent volume is erased to avoid detection. At that time, veracrypt prompts the user to install a new OS to serve as the decoy. Assuming I have a copy of the original OS that came with the machine, would this be a fairly straightforward process or might it involve a litany of complex work-arounds?

Any response is appreciated.

MacBook has EFI firmware but it is based on 1+ version. (probably. I do not have possibility to test)

Latest Intel notebooks from other vendors uses 2+ version.

VeraCrypt is built for 2+ version of EFI.

The latest specification of EFI is 2.5 (most notebooks on market contains 2.4 compatible EFI firmware)

note: Current VerCrypt EFI version bootloader does not support HOS from wizard.
