Hello,

I'm creating an VeraCrypt volume on a raw partition that is striped in RAID0 over tow identical disks. The other (unencrypted) partition also striped in RAID0 is showing a significant performance boost due to this RAID configuration where IOs are parallelised. The computer is running Windows 10 Pro 64 bits and VeraCrypt 1.17 is installed.

I therefore have the following questions:
1) Is VeraCrypt able to benefit from this also ?
2) Is the encryption algorithm influencing this ? (I choose for AES+Twofish+Serpent)
3) Is there a specific design/setup choices you would recommend to take advantage from the possible performance gains or would the difference be negligible anyway (due to what?) ?

Thanks for your advice and response !

UPDATE: some stats so far: file transfers from the SSD to the VeraCrypt volume reached an average between 150 and 175 MB/s. Copying from same source to the non-encrypted partition (also RAID0 striped) reached 275 MB/s on average.
