There needs to be an option to create an USB bootable Rescue Disk.
- Start command prompt as administrator.
- Change directory into the VeraCrypt installation. Typically, C:\Program Files\VeraCrypt
- Type: "VeraCrypt Fromat.exe" /n
This will skip the check for the Rescue CD/DVD.
NOTE: Create the ISO file and burn to CD/DVD or make a USB bootable Rescue Disk. Then test that you can boot from the device and access the menus.
Otherwise, if the bootloader gets corrupted, you cannot repair the bootloader and hence you cannot start your system.
