I've created a new volume file of a size of 500GB in which I have created a hidden part of a size of 400GB. I've put a few GB of data in each of the volumes making sure the hidden part is protected from overwriting. Both normal and hidden volumes were created with AES and SHA-512 with FAT system. The second time I've entered the normal volume and making a simple thing as creating a folder gives a warning "Data were attempted to be saved to the hidden volume". It happens to every volume I create on any disk I have. I do not use quick format option (if there is any). I always make sure the hidden part is protected.

VeraCrypt

How to prevent this from happening?
