Hello,

I am planning to encrypt my system with VeraCrypt, but I wounder if I do so, what will the Acronis True Image read when it does a system backup? Will it be clear text filesystem or an encrypted image?

I browsed through your documentation and searched but had no result.

VeraCrypt is built off of the TrueCrypt source code.

You can search using Google with the search terms TrueCrypt and Acronis True Image to see how this will work with VeraCrypt.

Use the following in the Google search box:
Acronis True Image truecrypt site:forum.acronis.com

For results from other sites, remove the site:forum.acronis.com from the seach box.

One of the postings on the Acronis forums should answer your questions since your question is about Acronis performing backups with encryption. This posting is in regards to TrueCrypt which is applicable to VeraCrypt. :)
