I would love to have an option to have the disk/container completely erased/formatted if the password was entered incorrectly a number of times. Similar to my blackberry.

Even better, after entering the password incorrectly a number of times the decoy operating system (or outside container) starts up while the hidden is erased.

Add another feature to that same concept, a password that when entered opens the outside container and erases the hidden one.

Is it difficult to do? That would make my life much easier and wold make me sleep better.

Although it may be doable (i'm not dev), it is pointless. An attacker would use his own tool to bruteforce volume, completely omitting original veracrypt and its deleting feature.

Something like that wouldn't do any good. Any attacker who isn't a complete idiot would copy the container and work from the copy.
