Hi,

All is in title :)

Auto mount at soft start-up feature, just : "enter password request" :)

Maybe save "last opened encrypted file" in a "config file". You run VeraCrypt, enter password and voilà ! :)

The best tool is fast usage tool !

Hi,

You can implement a similar feature using what is currently available, through the "Favorite volumes" function. It's described here: https://veracrypt.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=Favorite%20Volumes

First, you have to add the mounted volume to VeraCrypt Favorites and then you can choose:
  • To auto-mount the volume every time you log to Windows. Once the session is opened, you'll be prompted for its password and it will be mounted subsequently.
  • To auto-mount the volume when you press a specific keys combination. Go to "Settings -> Hot keys" and define a combination for the action "Mount Favorite Volumes". Then go to "Settings -> Preferences" and check "Start VeraCrypt Background Task". From here, when you want to mount your favorite volume, just press the key combination you defined and you'll be prompted for its password. Note that you can also define a hot key for dismounting all mounted volumes.
With hot keys and auto-mount on logon, the usage of VeraCrypt is indeed fast and handy.
